Newbie Love - Take time to Help new Bloggers - handy tools

Haley, Dominique and Caleb

Why we keep it clean - you never know who's watching!

I want to thank you all for the support you shower upon Newbies!

Every time I have asked for you to welcome a new blogger and

show your support by entering their first giveaway or adding them

as friends in our Mom Blog clubs, you always respond with open

arms. I can't thank you enough!

Here are a few handy tools for everyone:

To get new feed readers:

1. Feedburner - burn your feed (follow instructions there)

you can add your complete post, photos and all

to create a beautiful feed and set up your "subscribe by email"

newsletter.

Learn how to use it here

2. Pingler - ping your blog to show off your feed

to 1000's (free) and get new RSS readers

* a secret tip about Pingler - ignore where it says

"( You can use our tested list below or use your own list! Maximum: 100 )"

You can add hundreds of services to ping

leave the list of services in the box, scroll down to the bottom

* open another window or tab and go HERE

skip down to the second list, copy and paste it into

your pingler list box

* also go here, copy and paste this list HERE

You are only allowed to use Pingler once a day

Use it every day with your "big list"

Twitter followers:

Everyone wants to know how I built such a large Twitter following.

*I've been blogging since caveman days with 15 previous

blogs under my belt. It does take longevity to build a large

Twitter following. Here are 2 sites that can help.

1. Blip.fm - Twitter sister site for music.

sign up free, set Twitter as one of your services,

search for songs in the Blip search box and blip(play) them.

I gained 1000 Twitter followers my first month at Blip.

2. Twiends - secret to gaining Twitter followers - don't follow

anyone on Twitter with Twiends. Add your Twitter, Facebook

"like" page and blog page you want to show off to Twiends.

To get credits,

"like" other Facebook pages and visit other websites.

Then you will notice lots of new Twitter Followers.

Follow back the ones you want to keep.

block the offensive ones.

I never follow anyone on Twitter, I only follow back!

To get rid of the dead beats - the ones the you follow,

but they don't follow back, go HERE

(works on large accounts - remove 100 dead beats a day)

(use the same tool to Follow "Fans" - ones that follow you,

but you don't follow back) only follow back the ones you want to keep.

3.
Photobucket

to get more blog followers:

join the Blog Hops and follow everyone you like,

they will visit you and follow back.

To find Blog Hops, type "Monday Blog Hops" (or Sunday and so on)

in Google search. Do this every day that you want new followers.

4. Take time to help Newbies! Tools can help you online -

but just imagine what a Friend can do! Be that friend.

Your reward? A happy, connected, successful, more fulfilling life.
