Thermogenic Soup Recipe - Negative Calorie Meal

Thermogenic Soup - good news from the FITworks Community

I received an email about this soup and had to pass it on. I'll file this under the
"Hope This Works" file. It is certainly easy on the budget!

from FITworks:

“The spices and vegetables in this soup have been specially selected to make it a negative-calorie meal – that means the more of this soup that you eat, the more calories you burn. That’s the power of thermogenic foods.”

Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cups low sodium beef broth
1 cup water
1 whole green bell pepper, chopped
1 whole red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
3 green onions chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 head chopped cabbage
2 dashes cayenne pepper
pepper to taste

directions:
Heat Dutch Oven over high heat
add olive oil and cabbage
add broth and water to Dutch Oven
cover and bring to a boil
add vegetables
simmer 10 to 15 minutes or
until vegetables are tender
add green onions and simmer for another minute
serve (serves 4)

This is the stuff I'm learning at the FITworks Community.
see you there.
