
I use this diet to drop a few pounds when needed. If you are sick of cooking,
this "diet" can be a real treat. I like to eat. It is important to me to have a variety
of low cal but tasty food. Price is important as well. I came up with this easy diet
and it works well for me. A big plus is "no dirty dishes". Yay!
Walmart has Marie Callender's for $2.50 each, but William just called from MO
and they were $1.89 there!
To lose weight: To take off 1 pound per week, you need to create a "deficit" of 500 calories per day. You can do this by eating 250 fewer calories a day (for example, cut out a 20-ounce bottle of regular soda) and burning an extra 250 calories through physical activity (for example, walk for 2.5 miles). Another way to cut back on calories is to watch your portion sizes.

Kathy's Three Day Marie Callender"s Diet
Breakfast:
one flavored fruit yogurt
fruit (banana, orange, melon, berries, etc)
Lunch:
one Marie Callender's frozen entree
large salad with zero fat dressing
Dinner:
One Marie Callender's meal of choice
salad
fruit
Snacks:
chopped raw veggies (celery, carrots, cucumbers, any veggie you like raw)
Watch what you drink while you diet. Zero calorie beverages are OK.
