Thrifty Ways - How to get a new Appliance Every Year

Kenmore Ultra SilverSteel™ 30" Freestanding Gas Range 7120

from Sears | Item: 02271208000 | Model: 7120
on sale -$399.88 (was $579.99)

I am still in the "experiment" stage of living without cable. (saves $40.+ per month
or $480. per year) I am learning that watching the same shows online, free
is much better than my old expensive cable.

The savings will buy a new appliance per year. Sears has dishwashers, clothes washers,
refrigerators and freezers in this price range. Sears delivers to rural areas and usually
has a rebate for home delivery of appliances.

My family does not use credit of any kind. Everything we have is paid for.
We don't work to pay interest on loans or credit cards and the bank can't take our house.

I use a prepaid Walmart Visa card and our checking account Visa card
to shop online. These cards are prepaid, so we only buy what we can afford.

I recommend that all of you get more creative with your household bills.
Small changes can pay off big!

Cable started out as a great way to watch TV with no commercials.
Now my favorite programs have so many commercials that I
don't enjoy watching them on cable.

Thank goodness these same channels are online with many free full episodes.
You can watch them online, free with no commercials, from any country.

Take your cable savings at the end of each year and buy Christmas presents
or one new appliance per year. Energy efficient appliances will get you a
hefty Tax credit, too!

You can live well without credit or cable.

Here is a great channel available to you all :
NATGEOTV.com from the National Geographic Channel

I fell asleep with it on and it played all night.
*no commercials
*auto plays the next show
*free
*wonderful

I watched the show "Lost Cities of the Amazon".
More shows:
Dog Whisperer
Birth of Jesus
In the Womb
Tiny Humans: The Hobbits of Flores
Female Suicide Bombers
Mystery of the Screaming Man (mummy)
Mixed Martial Arts
and did I say NO commercials?

To get the most out of online TV be sure to click the icon on
the bar at the bottom of the video or episode and watch shows in full screen.

Newer Flat Screens can be used like a monitor to watch your shows.
My DSL comes through a router that allows me to connect FOUR TV's via
computers and watch shows anywhere in the house!

What will you do with the money you save?
